Hi All,

Would be really interested to hear from any XP V1 owners where they secured their insurance from. We have previously used Progressive Insurance but the quote we have just received would seem to be very high. We would much appreciate any recommendations.

Can you say what the amount of the quote was?  Thanks!

If my memory serves me (HA!) I went with GEICO. I can't recall how much I paid.

My insurance agent also wrote it up as a class "C" motorhome, I think that may be the way to go,

There are a lot of discussions about insurance on Wander the West.  My off the cuff feeling from reading lots of those discussions is that the range for a $25,000 popup truck camper, is $600/year at the very top end, with several people claiming it's being covered for no additional cost via a rider clause on their truck insurance.  I feel like the average response was something around $200 for replacement value with a $500 deductible.

It might be worth your while to check out some of the discussions over there.
