Yikes.  Is that $5k *per* seat, or for a pair?

Oh you said "for the set"  (I thought you said "for the seat"). Gotcha.

There are other models of recaro that MIGHT work and cost about 3000/pair.

These where around $3500.00 installed.

All manual, no heat, no cool, but leather.

I took a drive to Marc's shop to look at the Recaro seat he installed in my truck. OMG! I did some fiddling with the adjustment buttons and wa-la I was in heaven. The seat fit like a glove. I am looking forward to those long drives to Wyoming, Montana or Dakota's because I know my back (lower back issues) will be in great hands (seat). With the heat and air options even better. I know it was money well spent! Hey guys you only live once why not go in comfort?

I have a 1500 dodge with bucket seats and the original Larmie leather seats in the 3500 were good for about 3-4 hours of driving tops. I've done my share of long distance driving and getting to your destination all beat up because of an uncomfortable ride is no way to start one's get-a-way. Check em out if you go by his shop I won't mind see what you think. Cheer's!  :D

Hi, if I purchase a RAM 3500 truck with the 40-20-40 front bench seat combination, is it possible to replace the larger seats with Recaro's and keep the middle "20" as is? ie. can I remove the two "40's" without removing the "20". Thanks if anybody can advise.
